Telez has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering obtained at Peninsula Technikon. He has more than 18 years’ experience having worked for KV3 Engineers for 10 years in consulting. He spent 2 years in operations management with the City of Cape Town. He then worked for Grundfos for 4 years as Manager for Western, Eastern and Northern Cape.

Andries has a Degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering obtained at Stellenbosch University. He is also accredited as a Certified Energy Manager by the Asscociation of Energy Engineers. He has more than 10 years’ experience having worked at KV3 Engineers, later becoming Worley Parsons RSA.
Being Engineers, we wanted a name that is easily spelt telephonically and stood for what we do. It felt right reducing Mechanical and Electrical to a simple MNE. Yet MNE seemed so alone. During a breakaway strategy session, we felt that the emphasis of strength, sturdiness and longevity mentality had to be incorporated, and what better way than an evergreen OAK tree? Totally by coincidence a client refered to us as "You MNE Okes"... which was so apt that it stuck ever since.
